EcoPark Appeal
A huge thank you to everyone who donated to our EcoPark appeal - we have now met our target and have secured the funding we need to start building our exciting new Eco-Centre!
This sustainable low-impact facility should take about 4 months to build, and will include a classroom/community space, office and volunteer kitchen facility. As soon as it is ready we will be inviting our supporters to visit and celebrate our new flagship outdoor learning space in East Birmingham.
In addition to the new building we will be recruiting new staff members to run community engagement, conservation and education programmes that will help thousands more people connect with the wildlife on their doorsteps.
For 19 years, EcoPark, our Environmental Education Centre in Small Heath has offered children, families and local groups a wild oasis where they can discover and connect with the nature on their doorstep.
Each year, thousands of local schoolchildren have the opportunity to pond dip, explore local woodland and hunt mini-beasts in the meadow. Thanks to EcoPark they can experience the benefits of time spent in nature away from the technologically driven world they are growing up in.
