About the event

Come along to discover wonderful wildlife at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens! Our team will be on site to lead sessions throughout the day to help you find as many wild species as possible as part of the 2025 City Nature Challenge, a global challenge to see which city is wildest!

We'll be running a pond dipping session, bug hunt, and wildlife walk so there will be lots to see and learn! Each of the sessions is free to attend, but places are limited so book yours now!

Bug Hunt: 10.30 - 11.00

Pond Dipping Session: 11.15 - 11.45

Wildflower Walk: 13.30 - 14.30

You are welcome to join us for as many of the sessions as you wish, and whilst they are all free, you will first need to purchase a ticket to enter the Botanical Gardens. Tickets can be purchased in advance on their website here. Tickets cost £9.00 per adult, £8.00 concession or £6.00 for a child aged 5-16.
