About the event

This is a one-way walk, we are providing a minibus to the start point on Sedgley Beacon and will be finishing at the car park on Wrens Hill Road.

Join us for a walk across Sedgley Beacon and around Wrens Nest, led by Paul Floyd from The Friends of Wrens Nest National Nature Reserve. We will be meeting in the nature reserve’s car park on Wrens Hill Road, and the minibus will be making its first journey at 10am, then returning to do a second journey. We aim to start the walk itself from Sedgley Beacon by 10:30am.

Paul will be leading us across Sedgley Beacon, down through Sedgley and Woodsetton, passing Parkes Hall Pool and then into Wrens Nest, taking in a circular walk around Wrens Nest before finishing at the car park. We anticipate to be walking for approximately 3 hours in total with breaks for refreshment, however please note that this is a rough estimate.

This is a free walk however please book a ticket so we know to expect you.

Please be aware a moderate level of fitness will be required for this walk due to the terrain, which includes steps and some steep and uneven ground.
