About the event
You'll have the opportunity to explore the site, take part in workshops that creatively explore your relationship with the environment, and enjoy a sound bath under the trees. We'll also have a psychotheraupetic counsellor on hand if you want someone to talk to about your ecoanxiety or any emotions that arise (please note this will be in the form of a 20 minute 'walk and talk', and not a formal counselling session).
A free lunch and one hot drink will be provided, but there's also a cafe on site where further hot drinks and baked goods can be bought.

Important bits!
- This event is not suitable for under 16s and you will not be able to participate if you have children with you, sorry! Workshop activities have been designed for adult participants, and to facilitate a space where people feel comfortable having mature and sensitive conversation around climate emotions. We always have plenty of child and family friendly events going on and you can find details of those on our website events page at www.bbcwildlife.org.uk/events.
- This event will coincide with the Riverside House open day, so booking for each workshop will be required on the day to help us manage numbers. Please arrive by 10.15am to ensure you're able to join the workshops you're most interested in!
- All activities on the day will be held outside under shelter, so please dress appropriately for that. We suggest wearing layers, a waterproof coat, and sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting a bit muddy.
