The ‘Growing Local Flora’, project is one of our key ongoing projects that feeds into all of our woodland enhancement work.
In 2013, the Wildlife Trust began ‘Growing Local Flora’, a project whose aim is to produce a large amount of local provenance woodland plants and supply them free of charge to partners of the Birmingham and Black Country Nature Improvement Area (NIA) who are who are undertaking Woodland Delivery Theme projects.

The Wildlife Trust does not have the skills or facilities to care for injured animals, but there are several organisations across Birmingham and the Black Country who do. If you have found an injured animal we hope the contact details below will be helpful to you. Also, consider calling your local vet - many vets will treat wild animals for a reduced charge, often only the cost of any medicines used.
